Author Guidelines
Ma’rifa welcomes high-quality manuscripts from researchers, academics, and practitioners from various disciplines. Authors are required to follow these guidelines to ensure a smooth review and publication process.
1. Manuscript Types
The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:
- Original Research Articles
- Review Articles
- Conceptual Papers
- Case Studies
2. Language
Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise, and academic English.
3. Manuscript Format
- Manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
- Use a standard font such as Times New Roman, size 12, with 1.5 line spacing.
- The manuscript length should generally range between 4,000–8,000 words.
- Use A4 paper size with standard margins of 2.5 cm on all sides.
4. Structure of the Manuscript
The manuscript should be organized in the following order:
- Title (concise and informative)
- Author(s) Name and Affiliation(s)
- Abstract (150–250 words)
- Keywords (3–5 keywords)
- Introduction
- Literature Review (optional)
- Methodology
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
- References
5. Citation and References
Authors must use a consistent citation style, such as APA, MLA, or Chicago. All references cited in the manuscript must be listed in the reference section. Authors are encouraged to use recent, relevant, and reliable sources.
6. Originality and Plagiarism
Submitted manuscripts must be original and free from plagiarism. The journal may use plagiarism detection software to screen all submissions before the review process.
7. Submission Process
Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal’s online submission system or via the official journal email. Authors must ensure that all required documents and information are complete before submission.
8. Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to Ma’rifa will undergo a double-blind peer review process. Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers’ comments and recommendations.
9. Ethical Considerations
Authors must comply with ethical standards in research and publication, including proper acknowledgment of sources, authorship transparency, and disclosure of any conflicts of interest.
10. Copyright
Authors retain the copyright of their work while granting the journal the right to publish and distribute the article.
